TWELVE MONTHS
- likes to go, go, go….& then go some more! 😝 this boy can’t be still & is mastering walking everywhere, going up & down stairs! 🕺
- says “daddy, mama, ball” & for the first time, said “ellie”!!! 🥹
- eats anything & everything so far, but just like ellie, would rather snack all day then eat big meals! 😀
- is a happy bug whenever outside even if caught in some rain! ☔️
- is such a goofy kid! often, tanner & i shake our heads & laugh at his quirks & funny personality! i am sure this is only the beginning! 🤪
- has truly been the sweetest addition to our family! a miracle & a fighter, fighting off sicknesses left & right since day one, but he’s our perfect little bug & we wouldn’t change a thing! 🥹 auggie jase, gus gus, guster buster, aj, augs, you hold many names, but ‘my sweet boy’ is my favorite! we are so happy you are ours!! 🩵

definitely in disbelief that my baby is TURNING ONE tomorrow. 🥹 in some ways, the days have been slow but in most ways, this first year has FLOWN by. i can’t hardly believe it! i’m better because of him & i am thankful god gifted us our happy little boy! we are so blessed, tyj! 🤍

i married into a family that loves pictures about as much as i do! 🤩 one of the many things i appreciate about tanner’s side of the family is they value documenting memories!! from the moment we began dating, this was made evident! from the year by year videos of the kids kept on dvd’s, the scrapbooks full to the brim, the play by play captures of their sporting events, the hard drives full of countless memories, & the way we always plan a time to show videos / pictures captured after any trip…it’s a shared appreciation! i love it & am so thankful for the value that’s shared capturing these small, but also so big in the end moments. its all these little memories that make up a big picture & our life story. 🤍

ELEVEN MONTHS
- traveled out of the country for the first time!! ✈️
- HUGE fan of the beach & water!! the boy would throw a fit when it was time to go. 🏝️
- loves to walk all over, but usually ends up with some kind of injury because he has no fear & tries to keep up with el bell! 😵‍💫
- obsessed with animals & bugs!! his favorite thing is pointing while saying “ooo” & “ahhh!!” at anything moving! 🐶
- current obsession : watermelon!! fairly certain him & ellie can eat one themselves! 🍉
- starting to snuggle & cuddle more, loves to give big kisses especially to his sister! 🩷🩵

may is always an extra special month, i feel a breath of fresh air welcoming it! 😅🙌🏼between the weather FINALLY looking hopeful, graduation parties, birthdays, mother’s day, anniversaries, etc. it is usually filled to the top day to day. it’s a color filled month & i am already loving it!! ☀️

we beat the storm by minutes & boy, am i glad we did!! ⚡️ the weather is so unpredictable even if the forecast is predicting it down to the hour. it may show 0% chance of rain & yet be raining buckets! this may have happened a time or two! 🥴😅 for us, it showed 50% chance of rain during the session time & we took the risk, so happy we did!! not a single drop fell until i was on my way home!

- will take one to three steps then plops down 😆
- LOVES the water! we got his water table out & he was a happy, happy boy! 🐠
- is such a good sport when it comes to all the shenanigans his big sis pulls. lately, she’s been tackling him with kisses, trying to get him to laugh which usually ends up in her squashing him..🙈🤣 but i will say ellie trying to get her younger brother to giggle is something that melts my heart! 🫶🏼
- tends to cry when we have to come inside for naps/feedings after spending lots of time outdoors. ellie & him would spend every minute outside if they could! ☀️
- his little personality is coming to light & he’s changing so much! definitely feel 10-11 months is going to be full of big changes!! 🩵
