My brother, Brandon, was born on August 2, 1993. On Sunday, September 10, 2017, my brother was in a head on collision on his motorcycle that ended his life. His Harley was completely totaled and went up in flames (but is currently being salvaged and rebuilt). The amazing paramedics and medical team did everything they could for my brother, but his body was just too damaged, and he didn’t make it. In November 2017, I found out I was pregnant with his first niece. And on August 2nd, 2018, Brandon’s first birthday in heaven, I delivered my little baby girl, Brielle, happy and healthy. What a tender mercy to have my baby brought to me on such a special day. I have had this idea for this photoshoot for some time, and was finally able to pull it off. We are a Harley family, and always will be. Brandon died doing what he loved, with his knees in the wind, riding through the Napa Hills. And I know that he is up above, with my mom, looking down on us and protecting us. Thank you to the biker community in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon for helping make this happen. And a special thank you to Shyvonne and her son for taking time out of their life to meet up with us and allow me to take these pictures on a bike that is so similar to my brothers.

Open your eyes and look for motorcycles! Those riding have families and loved ones that are waiting at home for them. I need to make it home to my family. And bikers
