Douglas Irises and a small (~1.5" or 4cm diameter) wild rose.

The irises were in the native plant garden area of the park. I thought that they were Douglas Iris, but wasn't sure if I remembered correctly. While I was there, I searched online on my phone. When I clicked on one of the entries/results, what came up was my own Facebook post with a photo from 2024 that indeed identified them as such! It made me wonder if any other people have come across my posts by doing a general online search for certain flowers.

Jack-in-the-Pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum)

When it is in full bloom, the hooded, striped flower stands vertically, with "Jack the preacher" (a spadix), inside it. I was late in capturing these this year, so the hood had already drooped over the top.

That yellow flower was an Iris, not something else, as I realized later. I haven’t processed it yet.
