Sometimes they smile, sometimes they laugh, and sometimes they look like photo number 15 😂

And you know what? That’s perfectly okay!

I’m not here to capture some picture-perfect version of your family. I want to capture your kids exactly as they are. Their big personalities, silly faces, genuine smiles, and yes, even the occasional tears.

As a mom myself, I know that life with kids isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Some days are a little chaotic, and photo sessions are no exception. But I promise, you don’t need perfectly behaved kids to get photos you’ll love.

So please don’t stress about how your kids will behave during your session. Just show up, love on them, laugh through the chaos, and let me take care of the rest!

Am I behind on sharing sessions? Yes. Very. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But I’m officially attempting to catch up!

Starting with a few favorites from Laynes senior session.

The seniors this year have been so good at making their sessions feel like them, and Layne’s was no exception. He’s spent so much of his childhood fishing, hanging out by the river, and spending time at his grandparents’ nursery, so choosing this spot for his senior photos just made sense.

Senior photos don’t have to be about finding the “perfect” location. Sometimes the best place is one that already means something to you.

Natalia’s senior session was SO much fun! She wanted to do something a little different from my usual senior sessions, and I was all for it!
I love when seniors come to me with their own ideas and a vision for their photos. It gives us a chance to get creative, try something new, and create images that really reflect their personality and style.
Natalia absolutely nailed her session, and I had the best time bringing her vision to life! These are just a few of my favorites, and trust me, it was hard to narrow them down!
If you’re planning your senior photos, don’t be afraid to think outside the box. Your senior session should feel like YOU, whether that means something classic and timeless or a little more unexpected.
