This will be the hardest post I ever make. But this is goodbye for AMS Photo Co.
It comes with a very very heavy heart to announce that 2027 will be my last and final year as a photographer. After months of back and forth and so much thought I have decided to take a step back, focus on raising my babies and being more present. As many of you have seen now, my husband is now a police officer. This is a huge and exciting new adjustment for our little family but with that excitement also comes long days and nights for my husband, almost no weekends off, holidays away, birthdays away and weeks where we will barely see him. With our girls being so young I have to prioritize them first and be fully present for them. They need their mama. As much as I wish I could juggle it all right now I just can’t without sacrificing in one if not every area of my life. And as any mama knows, you never want that sacrifice to be motherhood if you have the opportunity not to. This was truly one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. You all have helped shape the human I am today. Because of you all I am outgoing, fun, determined and creative. You all watched me get engaged, get married, go through infertility and now have watched me raise two babies thus far. You’ve watched me grow not just my business but watched me start a whole new life. It’s been an honor letting you all in on my life and the amount of love and support I’ve been given through it all is astonishing!!
Over the last 10 years I’ve traveled the world with some of you, captured love stories that are engraved in my brain, I’ve met my best friends through this business, I’ve gotten to know so many people so personally that we still check in on one another through every season of life even if I’m not capturing it for them. I feel eternally grateful to each and every one of you for the support from the start. You helped me build a business I will be proud of for the rest of my life. Without all of you AMS wouldn’t have existed. I can’t wait to show my babies one day the work I made, the moments I captured for all of you that made me so proud. There truly are no words to tell you how thankful I am to have met you all. To everyone who stood by me through this business, whether you were here from the start or a new client, THANK YOU🤍
I am in tears as I type out this goodbye because truly I don’t think I could ever write enough words to sum up this incredible business and all of you. I hope you all take it to heart when I say I am eternally grateful for each one of you…
Maybe one day AMS can start up again. But until now this is goodbye and I love you. Thank you for letting me capture your stories 🤍
To anyone who wants to book before I am officially done, my books will officially be closed August 5th, 2027 if you’re already booked with me for next year I of course will still be capturing your moments. Please reach out if you would like to do one last session with me!
