This little one had us working for every shot; running, giggling, snack-pausing. But luckily her mama is a photographer too so we teamed up and made it happen. .weekender.photo you’re the best 🫶🏼

As much as I love sunsets and outdoor sessions, I’ve been enjoying all the indoor practice lately. Summer’s been kind, but we all know those gloomy Oregon days aren’t too far off. I simply love Snap Spot for any session. Good light, no weather drama, and just enough space for toddlers to do their thing.

Hello hello! Just sitting here editing some photos and had to pause and share a few from this beautiful engagement session. I love it when my couples take me to special places for their shoot. traveling for sessions is one of my favorite parts of this job. This little greenhouse in San Diego is such a gem, and I’m fully obsessed. The light, the greenery, the vibe… I could shoot here forever.

When I shoot engagement sessions, I always try to mix the posed with the playful. I’ll guide you into those timeless, polished shots, but I’m also here for the laughs, the quick glances, the messy, real moments in between. It’s in that mix where the story really lives.

Hey, it’s Maryam!

Just felt like saying a little hello from this side of the camera. Life lately has been full: weddings, portraits, editing marathons, and lots of time with my sweet pup, Mango, curled up nearby. I’ve got some travel on the horizon, a few exciting shoots coming up, and a heart that’s feeling extra grateful for the stories I get to be part of.
