Throughout the weekend, 10 period musicians will be at each of the houses open on the tour playing music and instruments form the late 19th and 20th centuries. Be sure to stop by and hear one of their ongoing presentations. All musicians are stationed in areas that are accessible to all. Musical performances are free and open to the public regardless of the purchase of a home tour ticket. Period musicians are paid for through a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.

Did you know that the Eufaula Pilgrimage is one of the only historical tours of homes that offers period musicians as part of the overall experience? Thanks to a grant funded through the Alabama State Council on the Arts, musicians from around the Southeast come to perform for visitors teaching them about period music, instruments, and lifestyle. While you are here for the weekend, stop by and experience the sounds of the south from the 19th and early 20th centuries with our 10 musicians. All musical performances are ongoing and available to the public at no charge. Musicians are located at each of the homes open on the tour and are in areas that are accessible to all.
