One of my favorite personal philosophies is trying to enter every relationship and connection with the intent to grow and learn and evolve in what you deem a positive direction.

Every connection I have ever held with human has taught me something important. Either about the world, about them or about myself. This absolutely includes my connection with every single human that steps into my studio. And I can say for certain that each one of you who has walked through that door has held a similar framing in learning something new about yourself.

Whether it’s celebrating a milestone, learning to love a new version of your body, or taking steps to feel more comfortable in your skin, it’s all growth and evolution of self.

My mantra that reminds me of this is “If you don’t grow, you rot”. A friend of mine just told me that I’ve experienced the opposite of PTSD from losing Jacob. He called it Post Traumatic Growth. And I think that’s the wildest and more beautiful thing I could have heard about the way I’ve moved through my grief.

If you’re ready to make some moves towards evolving your self, I’d urge you to adopt that framework. Get curious, get vulnerable and get growing. And if you’re wanting to connect with your body, I’d be honored if that journey involved a session with me.
