Mozart's Requiem is an ambitious (and grandiose but not pretentious) piece of music. Este Park's Oratorio Society has been working hard to bring a high quality performance to the community.

John Williams' Schindler's List (main theme) is simply beautiful, featuring a masterful cello performance by Rich Woessner.

The debut of Downright Ornery's full band configuration will happen a week from tonight. I'm so pleased to be part of this accomplished group. These fellers work hard and are serious about their craft.

The drive to improve my own musicianship has never been this strong. To put that in perspective, this week I started producing sheet music to document proposed vocal arrangements - never did that before.

Hello, friends. Last month, I joined a band about which I'm pretty excited. The genre is the full spectrum of country; the band name is "Downright Ornery". Three-part harmony is a signature attribute.

We have four versatile singers on the roster, with several possible band configurations. At FoCoMX, the lineup will include rhythm guitar, lead guitar, pedal steel, drums, and bass guitar. It's going to be a good time for at least the band!
