This bull elk had a little more Halloween spirit than he bargained for! 🦌🎃🧙‍♀️

Thankfully, this story has a happy ending. The bull was able to shake the decoration loose quickly and went on his way!

A good reminder to be mindful of outdoor decorations, especially in areas where wildlife roam. What seems like harmless Halloween fun can quickly become dangerous for our wildlife. 🧡

Not all cow elk are bred during the peak of the rut! 🍂 Some cows come into estrus later in the season, giving them another opportunity to be bred. That means while most elk calves arrive in late spring and early summer, we occasionally get a few late arrivals!

And who doesn’t love seeing those adorable little spotted cutie pies running around a little later in the year? 🤎🌿 Nature has its own timeline, and sometimes the sweetest surprises come a little late!

Morning rush hour traffic. 🖤

There’s just something about KJ. No matter how many times I see him, I never get tired of watching this incredible bull....

Yesterday, my little sidekick got to tag along on an elk-finding adventure! 🐾❤️ Safe to say, he absolutely loved every minute of it! I think I officially have a new elk-watching buddy! 🐶

Looks like the town hired a new traffic control officer! No badge, no whistle, and absolutely no sense of urgency. Traffic moves when he says it moves!

This bull has a very interesting set of antlers.
