I went to Glacier around the same time the Yellowstone floods were happening, and it seemed like the water levels were high here as well. This spot looked it would normally be a sandbar, but the lakeshore rose over it. This was just off the road by the St. Mary Lake entrance.

I’ve used 395 several times to go from NorCal to SoCal, and I’ve stopped at this spot a few times now. I took the first image a couple weeks ago, and the second one about 3 years ago in March.

It’s cool to see the different snowfall the lake gets throughout the winter and spring.
