Went to Crested Butte this past weekend with my daughter. We were simply blown away by Kebler Pass. We thought we were hitting the fall color a little late but the play of some early snow and 70% of the leaf color gone was magical. This is 3 images combined and shot with a 19mm tilt shift lens.

Sunrise at Lake Hiayaha this morning. Some of the coolest formations of blue ice I have ever seen in Rocky. 20 minutes later, it was a snow storm.

We were taken on as the second camera for a 2 month long project situated in the Monterey Bay area of CA in November & December. It was to help create a documentary video for an environmental non-profit that works with whale conservation. On this day, a little farther south off the coast of Santa Barbara, a licensed private charter helped us find some juvenile Great Whites spending time in the calm shallow waters off shore. Check out minute 1:45 when the main camera person locates the shark from the air. Happy New Year everyone!
