I have long held a love for the outdoors, possibly cultivated by my childhood years spent growing up and travelling in rural and remote Australia. In my adult years, I began to realise what peace nature and wildlife viewing brings to my heart and soul, especially as a I spent so much time in my other passion, my work with a medical-humanitarian organisation. My passion for photography really start

ed in 2010, following a week in the Shetland Islands, on a ' Photography workshop' focussing on otters and landscapes. I fell in love with the Shetlands and photography, as well as the otters, in no small part thanks to the amazing knowledge, field craft and passion of Brydon Thomason ( Nature) and Dr Richard Shucksmith. With my photography I strive to tell the story of the nature and wildlife I am photographing, as well as convey the feelings it has engendered in me at the time.
