Today our community mourns for the young souls lost in the accident on Springwater Rd yesterday. Sending love and comfort to those families and friends of those that were lost. We may be relatively new to this community but our hearts still break for such a loss.

I know many of you are graduating soon, but before you get too busy celebrating, I just want to say how proud I am of all of you.

As your friendtographer I have heard from most of you that you have felt more alone this last year than you have ever been before, and that has been a big struggle. Distance learning was a real pain in the ass for many, and to top it off, instead of enjoying life's celebrations, many of you had to zoom to celebrations of life. If I am being honest, it was a s**t year for you, and I am sorry this is how you had to end your high school days.

As you look back on this time, I hope for you that while you remember all of the crap you had to endure, you also pay respect to all you have accomplished.

As you go forth in the world and face new challenges, I want you to remember this;
you overcame a time of great turmoil and still managed to meet your goals. You took a time of great chaos and loneliness and emerged a new, more resilient version of yourself. Amid all the workforce insecurity, the politics, and the civil unrest, you still accomplished this amazing feat. Be proud of yourself, and never forget how strong you are.

it's time for listening.

If you have shot with me you know that I am always trying to create texture, depth, and motion when we are shooting together. Sometimes these things can be added in post and many people do add them that way - including me at times. But given a chance, I prefer to make the magic happen in-camera, which means I experiment a lot. Sometimes the gambles pay off, sometimes not.
