Rneshared from an unforgettable family trip exploring the Rockies up through Jasper Canada. I’m so stuck not being able to live through my lens lately but INCREDIBLY grateful when images from the website store are sold to hang up in a home or office. This year I’ve already sold 10 Large prints on Metal. Several were printed at Max size, and I was totally jealous and want to print them for myself 🙂.

Th is wild and amazing vista seems as though it is a trek to reach, but it is not even a minutes walk from the road. Many visitors to Glacier National Park get to see this awesome location, but few take the time to watch the sun kiss the mountains in the cool crisp air.

If this image speaks to you, it is just a couple clicks away from something you can see every morning. Head on over to my website for a quick and easy purchase! (link in bio > Store > Montana) I’ve seen this one in many sizes and options now. I HIGHLY recommend 24X36 Metal or acrylic, but there a plenty of options if you want to message me.

Love you all and thanks for spending the time to reach out over the years.

This young foal, sticking close to its mother, was just days old when I discovered it. The cord had not yet separated from its birth. These wild horses face a lot of challenges early on, but the band they are born into takes care of them well.

My family and I traveled through the dirt road 4x4 passes between Ironton and Lake City, this was one of several amazing awards waiting for us. This site named the "Hidden Treasure Dam" is a perfect name for a beautiful treasure.

For several months every year, the aspens blend in with the evergreens around them, only to explode with color for a few glorious weeks, and then go dark through the many cold months of winter.

What is your favorite season? Summer tends to be my least favorite.

Seeing the fall colors in the mountains of southwest Colorado are my favorite trip of the year. There is so much to see in the San Juans, but I really love this view on Million Dollar Highway just outside Ouray, Colorado. Even more amazing to me is to consider just how many people through hundreds of years have seen this exact view and paused to reflect.

What is your favorite place to view fall colors?

Wow, I haven't posted since MAY!! It has been a pretty rough year for me medically speaking, but I finally dragged myself up to Ice Lake last week for what has become a 3-year tradition. Doing an 8 mile hike at high elevation, with no prior exercise this year, was pretty stupid, and pretty awesome.

I love this lake. Of all the alpine lakes I've been to, including the gorgeous teal lakes in the Canadian Rockies, nothing tops this color. When the sun backlights the water it becomes an almost self lit florescent blue.

This is your chance to name a wild horse!! In northwest Colorado, bands of wild horses roam through 150,000 acres of beautiful high plains country. Each year we are treated to more of these beautiful creatures being born, and the little one you see pictured here is a newly discovered horse just this year. It is tradition in the basin that the first to find a horse gets to name it, but I've had that honor in the past. What I'd love to do for this one is ask my followers for name ideas. I will look across each platform and pick a name from those in a few days, and you'll ultimately have the honor of naming a part of Colorado history! Just leave your suggestion in the comments and I'll follow up =)
