A little sneak peek for Kailynn and Klaira. 💙

These two sisters looked absolutely beautiful in blue, and the whole group showed up looking so sharp. I know sessions with teenagers are not always their favorite thing in the world, but I also know how much these photos mean to mom — and honestly, that makes them even more special.

One day these will be the photos everyone looks back on and says, “I’m so glad we did that.”

Their full gallery will be heading home by the end of next week, if not before, but I had to share a few favorites from their session.

Best day ever.

That was the banner hanging above the judge today in Courtroom 3 at the Baltimore County Courthouse in Towson… and honestly, there could not have been more perfect words for what I had the honor of witnessing.

Today I photographed an adoption, and it was one of those moments that reaches right into your heart.

There were happy tears, nervous smiles, deep breaths, and so much love filling that courtroom. The kind of love that does not need to be loud to be powerful.

And sitting there in front of the judge was a little sign that said, “Family after all.”

That is exactly what today was.

Not just a court date.
Not just paperwork.
Not just a signature.

It was family.
It was forever.
It was a brand-new chapter beginning.

I feel truly honored that this family trusted me to capture something so personal and beautiful. Once they are ready to share, I hope to share a little more from this very special day too.

But for now, I am just sitting with a full heart and so much gratitude…

because today truly was the best day ever. ❤️

It’s strawberry season… and I am bringing all the berry-covered cuteness into the studio for two days only!

These sweet little sessions are perfect for sitters through age 6 and are made for giggles, tiny hands, berry smiles, and those adorable childhood moments that feel like summer.

Children can eat, hold, smoosh, and play with strawberries while I capture all the sweetness. Messy little fingers are welcome here. 🍓

Congratulations Kaileigh~ Class of 2026 Graduate

Yesterday, Kaileigh crossed the stage, accepted her diploma, and officially became a high school graduate. 🎓

I had the pleasure of photographing her senior session at Historic Jerusalem Mill, and she was truly such a beautiful soul — sweet, polite, gentle, and so easy to work with.

One of my favorite little details from her session was her sash. Those tiny colorful handprints were a gift from the daycare children she works with, and I just thought that was the sweetest thing. What a special reminder that while Kaileigh is stepping into her next chapter, she has already made an impact on little hearts just beginning theirs.

Kaileigh, congratulations on this huge milestone. I hope this next chapter brings you so much joy, growth, adventure, and everything you’ve been working toward.

Oh bother… our sweet Ellie is ONE! 🍯

This little hunny girl is celebrating her very first birthday this weekend, and her gallery has officially been delivered!

Now, I have to tell the truth… Miss Ellie made us work for those portraits. She was not exactly convinced that the camera was her best friend, and it actually took us three separate days to get her session finished. But the moment that cake came out?

Well… let’s just say she became very food motivated and absolutely ate it up — literally. 😂

From those soft little birthday portraits to the sweetest cake-covered fingers, toes, cheeks, and all the tiny messy details in between, this session turned into such a perfect little reminder that babies run the show… and sometimes the magic happens when we simply let them be little.

Happy 1st Birthday, Ellie! I hope your party this weekend is filled with love, laughter, cake, and all the sweet hunny pot memories your family can hold. 💛

Memorial Day always feels heavy on my heart.

It is more than a long weekend, more than the unofficial start of summer, and more than red, white, and blue. It is a day to pause, reflect, and remember the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice so the rest of us could live in freedom.

This year, with America’s 250th anniversary approaching, that feeling hits even deeper. Two hundred and fifty years of this country’s story… built by courage, protected by sacrifice, and carried forward by families who have paid a price most of us can never fully understand.

As a photographer, I have always believed photos are more than just pictures. They are legacy. They are proof of love, service, family, and the people who came before us. Looking back at these images reminds me how important it is to teach our children that freedom was never free.

Today, I am holding close every fallen hero, every Gold Star family, and every loved one who has an empty chair at the table because someone they loved chose service above self.

May we never forget.
May we always honor them.
And may we live in a way that is worthy of the sacrifice they made.

A Rainy Day Proposal

Belvedere means “beautiful view”… and today, I got to photograph the most beautiful view of all.

SHE SAID YES.

Actually… Rachel said yes about 100 times. 🥹💍

Today at The Belvedere in Baltimore, I had the absolute honor of photographing Brady and Rachel’s proposal.

On this rainy Baltimore afternoon, surrounded by history, old-city charm, and one very beautiful love story unfolding right in front of me… this really was the most beautiful view.

A ring.
Happy tears.
A whole lot of yes.
And the beginning of forever.

Congratulations to the newly engaged couple, Brady and Rachel. What a beautiful chapter in your love story to witness. 🤍
