Scott Peterson Photography

Scott Peterson Photography Scott is a photographer based in Escanaba, Michigan. My passion for photography began in the mid-1980s when I joined the U.S. Scott

His work captures the charm of small towns, historic buildings, and rural life in America—often in black and white. Air Force and purchased my first camera—a Pentax Super Program. At the time, photography was a hobby, and I found joy in capturing the beauty of sights and moments. Throughout my life, I’ve always loved having a camera in hand, documenting cherished memories—from my daughters growing

up and their activities to family adventures, travels and now my grandchildren. Over time, I expanded my photography interests, venturing into senior portraits and wedding photography. I thoroughly enjoyed those years of capturing life's most special milestones. Additionally, I had the privilege of teaching photography classes at Bay College, where I worked closely with students and especially loved our live photo shoots. Today, my approach to photography is more selective. I find fulfillment exploring the woods or city streets with my camera, as well as spending weekends backpacking or cycling with my wife. Thank you for visiting my page. If you’re interested in purchasing a print, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to assist. While I no longer cover as many events as I once did, I do occasionally make exceptions for special occasions. If you’re interested in joining me on a photo walk or planning a photo adventure, let me know—I’d love to collaborate. And always remember: photography is about light, and the best camera is the one you have with you.

Another day of checking out some of our lovely beautiful old barns we have throughout Delta, County and the Upper Peninsula. This barn is one of my favorites with it's look and the concrete silo sitting but to the wooden barn.
