I had the pleasure of covering a wonderful event this weekend. Despite the forecast, it turned out to be absolutely perfect April 25th weather (ifykyk 😉) for the 2026 Our Wish Ability Games. It was amazing watching a community of people come together, share their gifts, and celebrate those with different abilities. Those smiles were worth the sunburn!! 🤩

This was my first shoot of a shoot 😉... While that was fun to say, it was not very clear. I had the pleasure of photographing competitive clay shooting for a cause: the Houston County VFW. It was a beautiful day. I couldn't have asked for better weather or a more scenic location. The portrait photographer in me wants to see faces in my frame, so this was tricky for me. Finding angles that were safe for me to view the shooter's faces was a challenge. It was fun! I look forward to next year.
