But all joking aside, it's May which means all these wonderful seniors I got to spend time with this year are graduating - BEST OF LUCK!!!!

What a special batch I had this year - all of them had big aspirations, and each session was fun in its own way. Senior sessions are my favorite 😍

Soooo for the big news I mentioned earlier this week...👀 

Photographs By Heather is rebranding! This has been heavy on my heart for awhile, but I refused to make any big and scary changes until I knew the time was right.  I wasn't in love with my business name anymore - I felt it didn't distinguish me enough from others, it was kind of generic, and I spent months trying to create a logo I loved and failed 🤣

This past year of growth has been filled with many Full Circle moments, and I have said this to myself far too many times to count! 🥹

So today is the official launch of Full Circle Portrait Co. By Heather 📸🤩🔥

Over the next few weeks I'll be updating all my platforms, websites, socials, etc. The biggest change this brings my current clients - your gallery links won't work and I'll be re-emailing them! If you need them sooner, email me at [email protected] and I'll get them re-sent asap!

The beginning of the year is always a time for reflection, reorganizing, and goal setting/steps for attaining...often times this time of year comes with tons of change.

I always struggle with keeping up with social media to begin with. The constant "noise" of it all. I try to stay as present as I can with my family when they are with me at home, and often times sessions won't get shared. By the time they are edited and sent off, I'm clocked out for the day. I never chalked this up to a bad thing really - I love each and every session I send, and pour my heart and soul into every image I edit and every gallery I do 💗

The more I think of it though, is it a bad thing? Maybe from a marketing perspective - my posts often times get missed, etc. But from a privacy and safety perspective for our kids? Probably the best thing. Especially in our current world when we don't know who's on the other side of the screen.

So from here on out, I won't be sharing any images of children on my photography pages. With the permission of the client I can share my work if you'd like to see proof of my style and what to expect as the outcome of a session. If you are comfortable tagging me to credit my work when you share your images, I ALWAYS appreciate that 🙂

It's sad to have to make these choices, however it's the world we are in.

So I should know better, but the week between Christmas and New Years is always basically a "staycation" for our family. It's spent together, and honestly we usually don't know what day of the week it is 😆 well my husband and I celebrated a decade together this past weekend - and lo and behold I forgot I needed to do this drawing! So I apologize, but I finally have a winner after getting back into the swing of real life in 2026! 🤣 Get ready for an influx of my best work from 2025 - I am SO EXCITED to capture alllllll the memories and see how we grow in 2026! 😍
