When I received a text saying “can we do our photos at one of our favorite parks?” I don’t think I could have said yes any faster. We spent the evening playing red light green light, swinging, and sliding. The boys even pulled me in to play a few times. 10/10 recommend grabbing your photographer and documenting something your family loves to do!

My last session at Presque Isle is tonight and I am so not ready to give up this season. Even the rainy sessions somehow end up being some of the best to document. Summer forever, please.

Twenty years from now, your kids will sit around a table with strangers who will soon become friends, telling stories about your house, the street they grew up on, and the childhood their parents worked so hard to create.

Getting to document families right where their favorite memories are made will always be extra special. 🤍

Somehow tonight is the first night I’ll be at the peninsula this summer? I really can’t wait for it. There’s something about driving with the windows down, the lake breeze drifting through the car, and knowing I’m on my way to document another family’s story that I’ll never grow tired of.

Documenting families at Presque Isle are always some of my favorite sessions. Whether we’re right on the water or tucked up on a sand dune. Taking a moment to be with your closest people on one of the most gorgeous spots in town will never get old.

I still have August dates for my summer minis available. I am so looking forward to these and getting to run around in the sand with you!

Summer is here and I’m SO excited to document both new and familiar faces this season. Getting ready to document a few family sessions and spend my June weekends photographing weddings as both a lead and second shooter. This time of year always fills my cup creatively.

Balancing home life and work will probably always be a work in progress, but getting to document your people makes every bit of it worth it. Plus… my son has slept through the night two days in a row now, so I’d say we’re thriving 🤪
