As a professional photographer it’s very important to me that I embody the wishes I have for my clients, so that they can further understand the process and product that I envision for them.
I know what you’re thinking, which is that you don’t need a giant album to put on your coffee table because no one will look at it, or you don’t have room on your walls for beautiful frames with photos of you and your family. I’m here to tell you that thinking you don’t deserve to see yourself in the most beautiful way possible with the people you love and cherish most every day is wasted thinking. Today we live in a world where everyone just posts on instagram or facebook and “everyone” sees it. What about the feeling that comes with that? And that’s not a trick question, because there isn’t one. The social media aspect is deadly sometimes because it takes away the whole point of photos, and that’s the feeling of them. These are moments that you have been a part of, moments that have impacted you in some way, moments that you wish you could get back but you can’t; and now all that you have is the photos, to cherish, to remember those moments and how you felt. Moments like that deserve to be in a giant book on your coffee table, they deserve to be hung on your walls for friends and family to see. You deserve to share them with your parents, your grandparents, your children and grandchildren. You can’t do that with a post on social media, I mean you can but it’s not the same I promise you, because when you’re gone all your kids will have left to remember you is posts from social media.
When you choose Christina Motichak Photography you are choosing to keep those memories alive and cherish them by creating stunning works of art that speak to you. Just like we did with .m.whitehouse this past November, the album we created is something that we will cherish forever, along with our children and grandchildren who it will be passed down to for years to come. That is something so special.
Photography is always an investment, but it’s never ever wasted. So buy the album, hang the frames, just keep choosing to keep the beautiful moments you have been a part of alive.
