Feels Like Film

Feels Like Film Whether it’s an elopement at the edge of a glassy lake, an intimate wedding in a dense forest, or a cozy backyard ceremony.

I’m drawn to capturing the raw love stories of couples whose day is truly their own.

Engagement films are a thing….because static photos can capture the movement and real rhythm of your connection in motion, but not like this 🎥❤️

I’ve had mountaintop moments and valleys that almost broke me. Through it all, the one constant where I feel fully, authentically me is right here behind the lens, with couples and families who trust me.

The chaos of life fades, and I’m just….present. Grateful every time for this gift that brings me back to myself while documenting others.

Most brides think beautiful wedding photos come from posing.

But the best photos usually happen in the in-between moments.

Adjusting a veil.
Fixing a jacket.
A quiet second before the ceremony.
A glance you didn’t even realize happened.

Sometimes all it takes is slowing the day down for a few seconds and letting things happen naturally.

That’s how photos start to feel less like a photoshoot and more like a real memory.

On wedding days, I guide with movement instead of stiff poses, use natural light whenever possible, and pay attention to the quiet moments most people overlook.

Those are usually the photos couples end up loving the most years later 🤍

As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve been sitting with everything this year asked of me.

A year of trials and tribulations—truly.

In July, I walked away from my 9–5.
In August, I welcomed our third baby.
I stepped fully into staying home—choosing motherhood and presence—while also taking Feels Like Film full time and beginning a new venture in graphic design.

There were highs and lows in every area.
Career shifts. Sleepless nights. Breastfeeding struggles. Marriage challenges. Learning how to reparent myself and heal wounds I didn’t even realize were still shaping me.

Some days felt full of purpose. Others felt heavy and raw.
But through it all, there was growth—quiet, stretching, uncomfortable growth.

As we step into 2026, I’m not bringing resolutions. I’m bringing intention.

2026 is the year of restoration—
in my family, my marriage, my body, my creativity, my business, and my spirit.

For Feels Like Film and the life we’re building behind the scenes, this next year is about rebuilding gently, honestly, and with grace.

Here’s to softer mornings, steadier faith, deeper healing, and creating from a place of wholeness.
Welcome, 2026 🤍
