Sneak peeks are my favorite thing to deliver.

Unpopular opinion: the private last dance is more emotional than the first dance.

The first dance has everyone watching. There’s pressure, there’s a song you’ve rehearsed to, there’s a photographer in your face (hi, that’s me 👋).

The private last dance is just the two of you. The room is empty. The night is almost over. And somewhere between the cleanup crew and the last glass of champagne, you get one more song that nobody else gets to hear.

The Inserra’s did this. And I’m so happy they did.

The wedding advice I hate most?

“Telling every couple they NEED a first look.”

A first look is amazing for some weddings.
But not every wedding.

Some couples have dreamed about seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony their entire lives. And no perfectly optimized timeline is more important than that moment.

Your wedding day should not revolve around content efficiency.

It should revolve around what feels meaningful to you.

And honestly? Both options can create incredible photos.

Three things I wish more couples knew BEFORE booking their photographer (you’re welcome 😄)

1: Ask to see your photographer’s work inside your specific venue before you book. Light makes or breaks wedding photos, and not every photographer shoots well in every setting!

2: Couples who do a first look get 45+ more minutes for portraits. That’s the difference between a relaxed golden hour session and a rushed 15 minutes before dinner. Neither option is wrong, just know what you’re signing up for!

3: Family formals are genuinely the most chaotic 20 minutes of a wedding day. You want someone who can round up family members with a smile and keep things moving without the drama.

Golden hour in New Hampshire in the spring hits different.🌸

After months of brown trees, cold sessions, and watching the forecast nonstop, spring finally shows back up and everything feels alive again. The trees start blooming, the air gets warmer, and suddenly everyone wants to be outside again. Honestly, I look forward to this season every year.

This is also when engagement sessions start feeling extra relaxed. Longer nights, softer light, and being able to take photos without freezing definitely helps.

And the best part? Most couples show up nervous about being in front of the camera and leave realizing it really doesn’t have to feel awkward. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. That’s my job.

POV: your “grad session” turns into realizing you absolutely CRUSHED college 🔥🎓

A little BTS from this SNHU grad session and honestly… Roxanna made my job easy. Between the golden light, the confidence, and all the personality she brought into this session, these images came together so naturally.

One of my favorite things about grad sessions is celebrating everything it took to get here. The late nights, stress, hard work, and finally getting to breathe and say “I did it.”

College graduate officially unlocked ✔️🎓

Had such an amazing time shooting Roxanna’s SNHU grad session. We kept things simple, walked around campus, found some really good light, and ended up with a gallery that feels so her.
