But because this season passes so quickly, and sometimes it takes seeing yourself in a photograph to realize just how beautiful, strong, and full of life you truly were.

Every mom says the same thing after her maternity session:

“Wait… that’s ME?”

But here’s the thing…these photos aren’t just for you.

One day, your baby will look at them too.
They’ll see how loved they were before they even arrived. How you held them. Waited for them. Glowed carrying them.

As an adoptive mama, I often think about how meaningful it would be to have photos of my youngest daughter’s first mother carrying her. What a gift that would be to her story.

Your motherhood matters.
And it deserves to be remembered. 🤍

My oldest turned 13 this week…and I don’t think I was prepared for what it would do to my heart.

Time is a thief.

Not in a loud way, but in the quiet, sneaky way where the days feel long, but the years slip right through your fingers.

I’ve been going back through old photos lately…and realizing just how much these moments matter.

I swear I blinked and my oldest became a teenager… and it’s messing with me a little 🥹

These days feel long sometimes, I know. Full, loud, a little chaotic. But then you look back and realize just how fast it’s all moving.

It wasn’t that long ago this sweet boy was in my studio, all curled up and brand new. And now he’s here in mama’s arms, with two big sisters who already love him so big.

This season…it’s tender and a little wild and so, so fleeting.

Hold it close, mama. Even on the hard days.
Because somehow, they grow right through it ✨
