🎒✨ First Day of School ✨🎒

Today marks a brand new chapter for so many families. The backpacks are packed, the outfits are picked out, the nerves and excitement are all mixed together, and our little ones are stepping into another year of growth and memories. ❤️

As a photographer, I get the honor of capturing so many seasons of life ; from tiny milestones to senior years; and I know how quickly these moments pass. One day you’re taking those first-day-of-school pictures, and before you know it, you’re celebrating graduation. 🥹

My prayer today is for every student, teacher, and school staff member: may this year be filled with kindness, confidence, protection, and unforgettable moments. 📚✨

Parents, don’t forget to capture the little details; the smiles, the missing teeth, the backpacks, and even the “I don’t want a picture” faces. Those are the memories you’ll treasure later. 💕

As July comes to an end, I find myself reflecting more on what God has been teaching me than on what I've accomplished.

This month wasn't about constant growth, busy schedules, or everything going according to plan. It was about learning to trust God's timing, even in the quiet seasons. Sometimes He slows us down so we can hear His voice more clearly. Sometimes the waiting is where He does His greatest work.

I'm learning that my worth isn't measured by how full my calendar is or how many sessions I book. My purpose is found in being faithful with what He's placed in front of me, trusting that every closed door, every pause, and every unanswered prayer is preparing me for what's next.

As I step into August, my prayer is simple: Lord, lead my business. Open the doors You want me to walk through, close the ones that aren't meant for me, and help me serve others with excellence, no matter the season.

Here's to trusting the Author of the story, even when I can't see the next chapter.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5–6 🤍
