August has been CRAZY busy for me and it isn't over yet! I did 17 military event sessions already and will have done 14 non-military sessions when the month is over. Somehow I was even able to take off 2 weekends without any editing work!

I am so blessed to have had these last almost 2 years at Fort Rucker finding myself as a photographer and really pushing what started as a hobby for my own family, and going full scale into a business upon arrival.

Thank you to everyone who booked me, liked my photos, recommended me, and trusted me with these precious moments. I am not ready to leave- I still have just under 4 weeks left in my photography calendar. But I have been getting all the feels as my husband graduates next week, cleaning out the house, close on our new home in SC, and prep for the movers arriving in about 2.5 weeks.

The timeline is coming down to the final weeks so if you had something you wanted me to capture before moving please message ASAP!

It’s not every day that I have clients who want to get in the water- let alone TWICE at two different sessions!

I’m so grateful for clients who trust me to explore creative ideas with them, even when the concept feels a little unexpected. These out-of-the-box sessions are such a fun reminder of how many different ways we can make a session feel personal and unique.

And whether your dream session is something totally unexpected or something simple, classic, and timeless, there’s no wrong way to do it. The best sessions are the ones that feel like you.

There is nothing like that first flight feeling, seeing your aviator doing their thing from the ground. Such pride (and nerves) just realizing this is actually happening! Every time I get out on that airfield I still feel that exhilarating feeling, witnessing families experience something my own family has also experienced first hand!
