On the floor just inside the open door of the church Rev. Jamie Leonard picked up what appeared to be a fresh breast feather from either an owl or a hawk. It was a sign from Ken that he was there in spirit to help us set up the art for tonight’s performance.
Baroque Music Montana presents the music of Archangelo Corelli on
Friday July 22 at 7:30pm at Trinity Epsicopal in Jeffers near Ennis.
The program is part of a rural tour presenting Corelli’s Opus 5 Sonatas (1700),which changed the course of western music.
The performances pair Corelli — Rome’s greatest violinist who amassed an incredible art collection — with rural art galleries, studios, and museums in eight performances with baroque violin, cello, and harpsichord. These concerts will illuminate artists, rural arts spaces, and Montana’s historic value of visual and aural art.
It was my privilege to display this incredible and rare sculpture by my dear friend David Lemon, my leather sculptures and Ken Hall’s fine art photographs of mother nature enjoyed by all of us who live in beautiful southwest Montana.
