I feel like a kid the night before Christmas…. The kind that you still remember as an adult… (I still have the coolest mom who got me the cherished “Hanson” CD) which I still have… in my car… right now… in the cd player…. No joke
Anyways tomorrow I get the opportunity to photograph one of the largest coral reef/saltwater shows in the country. IN THE COUNTRY y’all…. This is huge…. My reef loving heart cannot stand it. I have been planning this, and over thinking this for days… I have a game plan in my mind and I am ready to get some amazing photos…. I’ve been over and over the lay out….. I’ve traced the steps in my mind…. I wish I could’ve gotten there tonight to mess with the light settings on my camera, but we will be there early ❤️ I can hear my camera clicking already… click click click…
I have also decided that as a “congratulations” gift to myself, if I can find this fish….. this beautiful mandarin goby that is eating frozen food in addition to fresh cultured food that it’s going home with us….. we brought a cooler, we have dip ready for a few new corals and friends with heat packs to keep everyone happy for the trip home….
I am also on the hunt for a sea fan… they are stunning and I neeeeeeed one….
I cannot wait to meet so many people that I have talked to over the last year, folks who have helped me avoid some pretty major disasters… folks that have become friends… I get to hug them tomorrow… Andrew who owns the amazing 1,700 gallon reef will be there, I’ll get to shake his hand and get his photo… Ashley Dinkins who spent almost every night of December along with Tian Sorg with me while I watched and learned…. Well Tank Goodness, Rhinos reef, chandler rocks, Dinkins aquatics and so so many more…. I cannot wait…
