Well, I’ve narrowed down my Liguria series (Northwest Italy) to about 70 award-winning images, thats what I would say anyway. ;/) My first sponsor of this series, Dr. Charles Cantor of La Jolla, has pre-purchased a 40 x 50“ for his living room. He has 45 of my images already, and this is gonna be a tough choice for him, adding #46 to his collection. But that’s my job, isn’t it? Thank you, Lord!

Most of the folks following me realize I do both photographic art and painting. Started actually as a painter as a kid. Won my first award at 13 in painting, and then my first national award in photography at 19!

Well, kept staring at this piece and realized the white border, now painted mostly red, didn’t work so well being white. After adding the red, I added green lines to complement the red. Now I think she’s finished for sure. It’s a 4 x 5‘ acrylic on canvas entitled Controlled chaos. It was $8800 but when it’s wet, I only ask $1900, a ‘still wet painting special’. Two days from now it’ll return back to the $8800 price.  A couple of detailed shots are included here.
