Mackinac Island has some really cool rock formations on it, Arch Rock being VERY popular. I didn’t climb the stairs to get closer, but I did enjoy the golden hour light from the sunrise lighting it up.

While on vacation on Mackinac Island, I woke up for a sunrise run and was not disappointed. I would definitely go back to the island just to run around the perimeter in the early morning.

A beautiful foggy morning from last summer on a local trail that goes from Lake Michigan, across the state, ending on Lake Huron shoreline. Mostly travelled by people on horseback, this is a great rugged and quiet trail I love to train on.
