New up, July 19: Claude Monet
I want to invite you to my next Masters workshop. This time we'll be learning about Claude Monet, the world's most quintessential Impressionist artist. We'll learn about Monet's life, his techniques, and why his work is so universally loved. Meet the Artist - Maryann Riker

Maryann Riker - Mixed Media, Collage, Bookmaker, Painter and Poet

A mixed-media artist whose books and collages unfold like visual memoirs of journeys, memories, and time. Drawing on digital imagery, Victorian iconography, and symbolic layers, her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and collected by major museums and universities.

When not creating, Maryann is reading mysteries, writing grants, or cultivating her status as a legend in her own living room.

Come see Maryann's miniature delights in our gallery. We have the most fun little paintings of popsicles and lollipops you'll ever want to see. We can wait to welcome you here!

Meet the Artist: Mindy Hahn

Mindy Hahn, Mixed-Media Artist, Illustrator

Mindy has always found it easier to express herself through art than words. Her work begins with traditional drawing—pencil, ink, and other mediums—layered into mixed media pieces. Even when she paints, she treats it like drawing, letting lines and shading tell the story. Each piece is like a visual conversation, inviting viewers to step in, explore the details, and create their own story from
what they see.

Mindy is always creating something new, and we always look forward to seeing what she brings us. She has quite a few collectors here in the gallery who are so delighted by what they discover each time they stop in.

Mindy will be here this coming Sunday, June 28th, from 10 to 1 at our Artists' reception. We hope you'll stop by and say "hi."

What has your art collection taught you?

Not about art history or markets but about your own taste, your spaces, the way you spend your attention.

"Jewels, Estill Springs Tennessee" is part of an ongoing conversation on my side of the screen.

I would genuinely like to hear what you have learned.

Meet the Artist - Andrea Finch

Andrea Finch - Textile Artist

Once a traditional flat quilter, Andrea's work has left the surface to become sculptures that taunt the viewer to reach out and touch. Her garden as it changes from season to season is the inspiration for her work.

She starts with botanical forms of leaves, flowers, or weeds, reducing the designs to more abstract forms, and finding the essence of the structure, she creates art to show aspects of the natural world few stop to observe and serve as a start for conversations about saving our flora and fauna.

Andrea and her familys' roots are here in the Lehigh Valley, but Andrea's work is spread throughout the east coast and beyond. We are so lucky to have her beautiful work represented here in the gallery. And she is so very uniquely creative!

Several weeks ago, you may have seen her set up in front of the gallery with her antique sewing machine, working her magic with fabric. She brought us some new work that day and we can't wait to show you her functional art! Stop on by and say "hi."
