I think it’s real fitting that not even my first Quinceañera photo shoot was a traditional one.

The black ballgown, knee high converse and cemetery location were too perfect.

But it did also make me feel real old knowing Isabella’s favorite band is also and I’ve been listening to them as long as she’s been alive 😅🖤

My last day in WA I got to experience the moody, rainy weather it is known for - and it was perfect.

Many thanks to Ruby and Jaden who rolled with the (weather) punches and met me at Mt Rainier among the downpour.

After my family getaway vacation to the PNW, I realized I was not prioritizing the right things. I've been burning myself out saying yes to almost every gig because well, everyone is so cool! I love meeting new people and I love seeing repeat clients. But doing so has greatly affected my mental health and family life.

So, 2026 books are closed for weddings as I want to put all my attention to the couples I have already booked. I will also only be taking on a handful of portrait sessions next year [senior, family, engagement].

Pushing my business has been at the forefront for so long. I'm super grateful for all the support and opportunities I've had over the last 10 years. It's just finally time for me to slow down as my life will take another pivotal change come Spring with our new addition.

10 years of saying “I do” to my best friend 🖤

I don’t think a decade ago we would have imagined the life we have now. But, most importantly we would be so happy to know we had a little family and it was growing by one.

This unplugged family vacation/vow renewal was exactly what I needed to reconnect and reflect on our future journey.

Here’s to another 10 years of marriage and hopefully one day winning the Anniversary Dance.

Oh and Emmett wore his converse as homage to James and I wearing Converse on the wedding day. Then the little baby converse shoes were the same ones we used to announce our first pregnancy 🖤🤍
