Wild Heart Photography

Wild Heart Photography Capturing the moments that mean something There is so much beauty in the world, and I've always felt the need to capture it! So I do a little bit of everything.

I specialize in outdoor, on location photography. I would say about 90% of what I do is what I would categorize under family shoots- including couples, newborns, children, engagements, maternity. The remaining 10% involves weddings & special events. I also have been involved in some charity events in the past and loved it, I hope to continue to have opportunities to do that as well.

Just one of the many beautiful sunsets I was able to witness in Miramar Beach, Florida. Praise God!

To think, some people really believe all this beauty is accidental and not intelligently and intentionally created. Crazy to me!

Did y'all enjoy the snow day? We got about 3½ inches here on the farm. How about you? Share your snow totals or what you did on your snow day in the comments.
I spent mine outside taking pictures of the doggies and kids enjoying the snow!

Thought I'd see how the comet is looking 5 days after originally seeing it. Very dim. Most could not see it with naked eye at this point. Once I knew where it was tonight (thanks to my Nikon) I was able to see an extremely faint cloudy trail when looking at that area in the sky.

We enjoyed our little glimpse of the Aurora Borealis here in North Carolina last night Oct 11, 2024.

A rare treat I never expected to see once, much less twice! (This was the 2nd time we were able to see The Northern Lights this year).

If you missed it, don't feel too bad. It does not look like this to the naked eye. Though I did NOT edit my photo, minus adding my logo, the colors you see in photos are merely because the camera can let in more light than our own eyes.

The extra colorful or vibrant photos I've seen are often even further enhanced in editing programs or via folk's phones auto saturation enhancement.
My photo is unedited to try to show a more realistic view of the color seen in the skies here. Though not this bright, we were able to see this reddish/pink hue in the sky with our naked eye.
