✨ Memorable Solar Eclipse 2024 ✨

📍 Elmo, Texas, April 8, 2024

Last April, I had the incredible opportunity to capture the mesmerizing solar eclipse from the United States, specifically in Elmo, Texas.

Despite challenging weather conditions, with clouds frequently obscuring the sun and the moon's path, nature granted us a perfect moment of clarity at the peak of the totality phase of the eclipse. As if by divine intervention, the sky cleared, allowing us to witness the total eclipse in all its majestic splendor. 🌑✨

In this composition, you can see the different phases of the eclipse:

Then, 30% covered 🌒
Next, 95% covered 🌘
And finally, the total eclipse at the center 🌑
This symmetrical arrangement highlights the spectacular progression of this celestial event. Ever since I embarked on my photographic journey back in 2015, I've had an undying fascination with roads. They're not just pathways; they're gateways to the unknown, offering the promise of new adventures waiting around the bend.

During a vacation on the beautiful island of La Réunion, I decided to send my drone soaring high to capture distant surfers riding the waves. While navigating the endless expanse of the vast Indian Ocean, I stumbled upon an unexpected treasure – this 'road.'

In reality, it's not your typical highway; it's a passage carved into a coral reef, providing safe harbor for pleasure boats. It's a testament to how we can harness the gifts of nature, like this reef, to preserve and protect our environment rather than resorting to imposing man-made concrete sea walls.

As I marveled at the juxtaposition of this tranquil passage against the might of the ocean, I couldn't help but reflect on the balance between human engineering and the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world.

This lush green paradise is home to the most serene moments. As I wander through this bamboo forest, I'm reminded of their incredible resilience. Did you know that bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world? 🌱 It can grow up to 90cm in just one day! Nature's marvel at its finest. 🌍

Bamboo teaches us the beauty of flexibility, bending without breaking. It's a symbol of grace and strength. These tall bamboo stalks stand together, creating a sense of harmony. 🎋

Nature's Symphony 🌊🏞️

The Riou River, located in the Alpes Maritimes, close to Vence, France, is a popular destination for hikers and photographers alike. The river is known for its cascading waterfalls, which are especially beautiful in the spring and summer months.

In this photo, I captured the Riou River waterfall using a long exposure. The long exposure creates a milky white effect in the water, which contrasts with the gray rocks and green vegetation. The cool blue tones of the water add to the overall effect, creating a sense of peace and tranquility.

I love the way the waterfall flows down the rocks, creating a sense of movement and energy. The contrast between the white water and the gray rocks is striking, and the green vegetation adds a touch of life.

When I was younger, I would come to this river with friends to jump into the different pools. We would spend hours swimming, playing, and exploring the area. It was a great way to cool off on a hot day and have some fun.

Beneath the magnificent Ponte 25 de Abril, I found myself in awe of the intricate web of crimson beams against the brilliant blue canvas of the sky. 🌉
