I’m thrilled to announce the release of my series, ‘When Words Failed Me.’ Several years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I struggled to convey my experience verbally. Words couldn’t express the range of emotions, fears, or spiritual revelations I encountered. Nor could they capture the depth of my love for my dear ones, or my gratitude for life’s simple joys like laughing with friends or working in my garden. To cope with this inner turmoil, I turned to photography, allegory, metaphor, and symbolism. By applying literary nuances to visual narratives, I found a way for the unspoken to reveal itself in my work. While it’s not always a happy story, it’s an authentic one, where even in the darkest moments, beauty can be found. I hope this series serves as a beacon of solidarity for those facing similar experiences. The image titled ‘The Threat of Losing Time’ marks the series’ opening, capturing the beginning of this transformative journey.
