So I absolutely love collecting old railroad spikes from the abandoned railroad. I started messing with resin as a way to display some of my favorite finds as I have many treasures lol
I tossed in some rocks I found & it needed something else, so I snagged a piece of greenery from one of my other decorations to put in & it is perfect 😍

I went on a different kind of hunt on Tuesday July 21st...
I went hunting naders! 🌪😂
Ever since I was a child I've always been fascinated by tornadoes & volcanos. As long as I know my daughter is safe, I can remain calm. She was in Boardman with her cousins when I got the alert. Luckily she was out of the path, so I decided to throw on my treasure huntin bibbies & out I went.
I know the tornado didn't hit where I was sitting, but let me tell you I thought I was in the middle of it for about 15 seconds which started at the end of this video & I cut it off in a panic lol This enormous gust of wind came through with heavy rain & my car was moving & it was a complete whiteout. Nothing like I've ever experienced.
My stupid ass is hitting the brakes like it's gonna do anything & then I threw on my hazard lights because why not 🤣 after it was over I sat there laughing hysterically & said "that was so fu***ng cool" 😂 definitely made ya girl pucker up a bit, but it was exhilarating.

Cascade Park Dam 📍

The dam was constructed in 1899 to create a 15 acre lake in the heart of the park. The lake was used recreation such as swimming, fishing & boating.
In 1981, a portion of the dam caved in, which caused the lake to drain. Due to funding, the dam & lake were sadly never restored.
Photos below show the remnants of the dam.

Went on a few hour hike yesterday & boy my legs are burning today from the giant hills I was climbing 😅
I've been wanting to get down to this little island in the middle of the cricket for a while, but the water level was never at an acceptable level until yesterday. Such a fun little area to explore 😍
