There are some sessions that just hit a little differently. ❤️

I've been photographing this sweet girl since she was probably seven or eight years old, and now here I am photographing her senior portraits. These full circle moments are one of the things I love most about this job. The longer I do this, the more I realize just how special it is to get to watch these kids grow up through my lens. It definitely makes me a little nostalgic. 🥹

Also, let me just say, my 2026 seniors are absolutely knocking it out of the park! I have had so much fun with this group so far. I'm looking forward to the seniors still on my calendar!! 🎓

I'm also incredibly grateful for every single person who continues to support me and my little business year after year. I know I don't offer every genre of photography anymore, so I realize I may not be the photographer for everyone's needs. The fact that you all continue to choose me, recommend me, share my work, and cheer me on means more than you know. 🫶

Happy World Photography Day!

12 years behind the camera, and I’m still incredibly grateful that this is what I get to do.

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, document so many important seasons of life, and create images that will hopefully be treasured for generations.

From seniors to families and all the little moments in between, I never take it for granted that someone trusts me to preserve a piece of their story.

I met Savannah for the first time when she arrived to our session. I asked her to tell me a little bit about herself.

Her very first answer?

"I like to read."

That immediately made me smile. In a world that's constantly moving, scrolling, and demanding our attention, there was something so refreshingly unique about that simple answer.

Over the next hour or so, I had the privilege of getting to know a little more of who she is. Quiet confidence, kindness, and a timeless beauty that doesn't need anything flashy to stand out.

These portraits are some of my favorites because they feel exactly like Savannah. Classic, clean, timeless, and beautifully simple. They aren't about trends. They're about preserving who she is in this season of life.

Thank you, Savannah, for trusting me to capture this milestone. It was such a joy getting to know you, even if only for a little while. 🤍
