Maryland Fall Foliage

The leaves are sure dropping fast in the central part of the state. Much faster than last year. The winds last weekend caused significant leaf drop.

Though there is still nice color out there like this American beech tree in my backyard.

Reports are the far Western Garrett County are starting to turn. But the state is still mostly green with the random trees starting to show color. I've seen a few red maples and black gums turning nicely though.

Anyone have any reports to share?
