I absolutely love taking family photos! I love kids at all their ages. I love creating photos that are fun and genuine. I am a mother of 4 myself and have worked with kids, teaching preschool (years ago), teaching piano, working with youth at church, etc. I've got you covered. I highly recommend booking your senior photos your junior year. Believe it or not, but that's now! This gives us plenty of time to schedule and plan your session. Booking your session during your junior year will also give you the peace of mind, knowing that such a special event is scheduled and pretty much in the hands of your photographer.

Anytime in the summer before your senior year is perfect for senior photos. Early fall is nice too, but it's best to get a head start on them and not leave yearbook due dates a concern. The warmer months often gives us more opportunity to personalize your senior photos with any hobbies you may have. For example, let's go to an ice cream shop, jump in a lake, more flowers in bloom, etc.

It's time! Grab your spring session in the beautiful flowery mountain scene. This is one of my top favorites with families I work with. Schedule a family session, maternity session, senior session or outdoor newborn session!

What is the hardest part of parenting? Is it the lack of sleep you get with babies? Is it potty training? Is it sitting in the passenger seat while you kid learns to drive? Is it teaching them about healthy relationships? Is it watching them making their own choices and going through heartache?

I know there is so much more. It is all a struggle, but it is all so worth it. I struggle knowing when to step in and when to let it go, but I'm here for it.

Among all the struggles, there is so much good and I'm so grateful to be a parent and have a family. This is just one reason I love to document your family so much. I understand the beauty of it. I know how much you love your people.

Let's start thinking about spring photos. Seniors, families, expecting mothers, outdoor newborn session... Just picture the wildflowers in the mountains and the sun peaking through the trees. Since I pretty much decided I didn't have time for social media last year, I have so many photos to share. This is last year's spring formal photos. We successfully pulled off this surprise proposal! These two amazing humans were so sweet and excited. I was super flattered that they wanted to come to Ellensburg for this special occasion and have me take their photos. Luckily, it wasn't unlike them to head out of town for the weekend and explore an area.

I really appreciated their patience when the plans slightly changed last minute with an unexpected closed gate. Never seen that before. Way to just roll with it. Definitely makes for a great story. Congrats you two!!
