Over the last couple of months, Chelsea and I have been planning a maternity shoot for her horse, Stormy. Our timing was not great, as it was single digits and in the middle of a huge dumping of snow... but it sure made for some gorgeous pictures.

When one of your dearest friends asks you to do a "maternity shoot" for her best mare (those pictures coming soon) that is going to be foaling soon... you oblige. But we all know Kali girl was the real star of the show.

This year has been far from normal. The kiddos got to have a soccer season this year, but since the last couple weeks of practice got cancelled, we did a little impromptu practice with a few of the kids and got some last minute "soccer pictures." This was one of my favorites... the beautiful Ellensburg evening didn't disappoint.

I took my camera to the race at Featherland a couple of months ago and tried my hand at some action photography. It is so much harder than I thought it would be to get that perfect shot, but not too shabby for my first time.

I got to have some fun with the nieces and nephews on Thanksgiving; the weather, lighting, river in the background... everything was perfect!
