Abigail reached out to me to see if I could come photograph their family at the cabin they rent every year in Sebewaing.....immediate YES!
When I arrived, they told me how they've been coming to the area every Memorial Day Weekend for years and they just wanted to capture the genuine feeling that these trips provide.
If playing euchre and drinking Vernors doesn't scream holiday weekend in Michigan, I don't know what does 😂
The McLeod Family was a joy to work with, and it was so special to be able to capture these for them 🫶

I heard someone call this month MAYhem, and honestly that feels appropriate 😆
Catching up on posting, so prepare for me to bombard you with beautiful people - and then it's back to the editing marathon! 🫡
First up, the Mains Family annual grandparent's session! We literally raced the storm that moved in. It was sunny and beautiful outside and the MINUTE they pulled in we heard the first thunder!
We HUSTLED through the different groupings and still ended up with a full gallery's worth of photos in only 15-20 minutes...finishing only moments before the downpour!

One of my favorite things about photographing both the maternity and the newborn session is experiencing all of the anticipation of what the baby will look like, how the birth will go, how the older sibling(s) will react to new baby, etc. - and then getting to actually meet them a few weeks later and having all of those questions answered 🫶
Elias fits perfectly into the Asmondy family and Jaxen is the best big brother! 🥰

These two are so easy to love - which was directly reflected in the overwhelming amount of love and support surrounding them the whole day. From family to friends, every room was filled with people who were genuinely excited to celebrate them.
And somehow, with a bridal party of TWENTY-TWO people, the entire day stayed perfectly on schedule from start to finish! 🙌
It was a truly a privilege to capture and celebrate their beautiful day with them! 🥳
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Kraft! 🧡
