Hey all, it’s Alex and I just want to ask every one of you who love live music and up and coming musicians to like this page and encourage your friends. Thanks to a generous donation by the Gadget Guys in Stilwell, we will be able to livestream Earth Note this year, but to have as many platforms as possible I need your help in meeting follower minimums.

I’ve started revisiting some of my favorite albums when I was living at the record stores in downtown Boston every weekend back in the late 90s and early 2000s. The time where I chose a pair of jeans based on if the pockets were big enough for my Sony Discman because I was still too poor to afford one of those tiny mp3 players just coming on tue market.

It’s got me thinking, in the day and age of the digital single and the detached à la cart way we consume music these days thanks to early services like iTunes and carried on by digital streaming, who is still making albums designed to be consumed in the order they were tracked?

What is your favorite album of the modern era that tells a story through each track that needs to be experienced as the artist and producer brought it together? Leave them in the comments!

(Classics are great too, but I’m looking to touch on the folks recording today in the single heavy environment we find ourselves in, where each track has to be a banger or it might never be listened to when the audience has so much vying for their attention.)

Earth Note is coming up fast, and I’m planning to livestream it so friends, family, and fans who can’t make it to Tahlequah can still be there for every set for every musician.

We even have a Starlink donation lined up to make sure the stream actually holds. (Give Gadget Guys in Stilwell, OK some love!)

The one thing standing between us and going live: Facebook requires 100 followers to unlock livestreaming on a business page. We’re not there yet.
