It’s been far too long since I’ve posted on this page.

The last several months have been a whirlwind. I’ve opened a studio, purchased the studio and our home, become the photographer for most of the schools and many large events in our area, bought a new car, and most exciting of all—we’re expecting our own little one. 🫶🏻

Needless to say, life and business have been keeping me busy nonstop.

With the weather not always cooperating, much of my work lately has taken place inside the studio. While I’ve truly enjoyed building that side of my business, it’s been so nice to step back outside and photograph what made me fall in love with photography in the first place—families, children, and people in love.

Lately, family sessions have taken on an entirely new meaning for me. As we prepare to welcome our own baby, I’ve found myself appreciating these moments even more. The tiny details, the chaos, the laughter, the hugs, and the memories being made right in front of me.

This family is especially dear to me because they’ve trusted me with their memories for years. I’ve photographed them before kids, after kids, before marriage, after marriage, and through so many milestones in between. Watching families grow and being invited back year after year is one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive as a photographer.

Thank you to every family, couple, and client who has continued to support me through all of life’s changes. I may not post as often as I’d like these days, but I’m still here, camera in hand, documenting the moments that matter most. 🤍📸✨

We have some BIG news… we are officially homeowners of both our home AND my studio 🤍

This wasn’t originally the plan for our housing situation, but with how much my photography business has grown, it truly felt like the right move for us. We are so excited for this next chapter and everything it will bring!

First and foremost, we want to say how incredibly thankful and grateful we are to Brent of Foto 1 for trusting us with a place that has meant so much to him for so many years. It is an honor to continue what he built, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds here.

With that being said, I do want to clarify how the space is set up moving forward:

• The LEFT side of the house is our private home
• The RIGHT side is the studio (House of Heirlooms)

Since we now live here, I kindly ask that if you need anything business-related, please do not:
• Come to the house at all hours of the day expecting me to be available
• Try to open doors
• Continue knocking
• Look through windows

I do have dogs, and they will be barking, so just know someone is home—but that does not mean I am available for business at that time.

At this time, I do not have set open hours every day.
If the OPEN sign is on, that means I am inside and available for questions. I do not accept walk in appointments.

All sessions are still by appointment only. If you would like to book a session, please message me or fill out the contact form on my website.

Also, a quick note regarding Kepner Realty:
His office is no longer located at the studio, even though the signs are still currently up (we are working on getting mine put up soon).
If you are needing to reach him, you can contact him directly at 304-636-5400.

Just a little weekly update—over the last week we have been busy moving into the house and getting everything settled. Because of that, turnaround time for photos and orders has been slightly delayed.

We are still working on things this week, but slowly everything is getting back to normal, and I will be catching up on messages, bookings, photos, and orders throughout the week.

✨ Announcement! ✨

What was once known as Alexandria Kimbleton Photography will now be known as House of Heirlooms (by Alexandria Kimbleton Photography)! This name better reflects the heart behind what I do — creating timeless portraits and photographs that families can cherish for generations.

Don’t worry — all current bookings and sessions will continue as planned.

While I will still be keeping both pages, they are technically now one business under the name House of Heirlooms. I’ll simply be keeping both pages active to help keep things organized and separate:

Between studio sessions, seniors, school portraits, business headshots, sports, cake smashes, newborns, festivals, weddings, and everything in between — my calendar each month is filling up very quickly.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, now is the time to reach out 🤍 I’m happy to answer questions and help you secure a date before spots are gone.

Quick update for my outdoor clients + weddings 🤍

All remaining outdoor sessions and weddings for Alexandria Kimbleton Photography will be delivered by Sunday evening. This does not include photos taken at my studio.

Just as a reminder — when I say photos will be delivered “by the end of the week,” I typically mean Sunday. (Whether that be morning or night.) I’m sorry for any confusion! I will get back to any and all messages by Monday!

Another small reminder: I try to treat answering business messages like a regular job with business hours Monday–Friday, 9–5 (unless I have a session scheduled with you outside of those times). If you message after hours, I promise I’m not ignoring you — I’m just taking that time for myself and will respond as soon as I’m back in business hours.

I’ll be taking tomorrow off for Valentine’s Day to spend it with my husband. Thank you all so much for your patience and support.
