Google Gemini x The Iowa State Fair

Creative Olsen headed to Des Moines, Iowa, to capture an immersive Google Gemini activation created by MKG—and this project was all about creating great content fast.

Our team produced more than 280 final images and two video deliverables, including an initial selection of photography and a 30-second social sizzle delivered the same day.

From fairgoers experiencing Gemini to VIP visits and everything happening throughout the activation, our team was there to capture it.

Certain stories stay with you long after the camera is packed away.

For Nebraska Hematology Oncology’s Their Words campaign, we had the privilege of photographing cancer patients and survivors as they shared their stories. While video was the heart of the campaign, we wanted the portraits to feel just as real.

We set up a simple studio inside the clinic and focused on capturing honest moments—no forced smiles, no distractions, just people willing to share a piece of their journey.

Our hope is that someone facing a cancer diagnosis sees these faces, hears these stories, and is reminded that there is still hope.

2 days. Full setup. One flat tire. 🎬🛞

Our team spent the last two days in Lincoln alongside Maly Marketing bringing another production to life — complete with our full Video Village setup, multiple camera systems, live client monitoring, and a crew fully locked in from start to finish.

Production days aren’t always glamorous. Long hours, problem solving on the fly, hauling gear, adapting to the unexpected… and apparently fixing a flat tire somewhere along the way. 😅

But these behind-the-scenes moments are exactly what make this work rewarding.
