For now falling leaves, and soon falling snow...

This October is unseasonably warm, and does not feel like it should be just about over!

I had my second ever horse riding lesson today. Through a veterans program, and I trotted!! That was so cool! I feel like each horse is stubborn like our dog Maynard. Not that they remind me of him, HE reminds me of them! "I want to do this instead..."

Though I really enjoy learning new things, over the years it's become difficult for me to stick with things. My husband and kiddos schedules require my flexibility, which in turn just makes me anxious about doing anything for myself when I know I'll end up missing lessons/classes/appointments etc.

Even photo workshops and editing goes in that category, but I'm getting better with the flexibility with photo art!

Autumn fairy 🦋🍂🍄

We found this costume a few weeks ago, and the wings are just amazing in size.

I wasn't sure we'd be doing the traditional trick or treating, and I told her she could get the costume for photos.

Yesterday, I thought I should use the sunset and amazing colors out right now to see what we get, and I love it!

Darker than I have normally done, but I have wanted darker for fall.

A dad and his boys 🥰

This guy works very hard for his family.

He's a two time Iraq veteran.

He and my hubs could laugh for hours at random dad jokes. We think they need a YouTube channel.

He might not think he's as cool as most of us do, including these two little men, but he'll just have to trust us. 🥳

Mama bears are amazing.

This one photo is a miracle.

These two were almost lost at his birth.

God truly intervened.

The doctors did not expect him to be much in this life after the events of his birth, and look at him proving them incorrect, and hopefully planting the seeds of faith and power of prayer!!!

This past Sunday was a tough day mentally/emotionally for me.
I have days that life just seems too difficult. I know there are so many people that have the same ❤

There are some very lonely days, and for some reason Sundays at and after church can be the worst. I figure God's got plans for our family, or the enemy would not continue fighting so hard over the years to keep me feeling that!

Likely sensing my off feeling, kiddo took to focusing on cleaning her room. Like really focusing. Simply because I said, "If you want to hang a new sign you should really clean your room so you can have friends over to see it!"

That was it!

She took 2 or less hours to get her room in order (it was reminding me of a hoarding situation), and organized even! No moving of messes, the closest nor under her bed were not suddenly bursting with anything. She CLEANED it all!

Who knew a dollar general sign would motivate her like that!🥳

I could not motivate myself to clean much though, so after a few small tasks I made brownies, and edited some photos. 🙂

Priorities friends. 🥰.

Sometimes we need to just take it easy, and eat some brownies while working on something that makes us happy. Whether it's some art or a room!

Real life conversations between a girl and her dog.

We've had mean comments about this boy over the years because of his 'breed', but he sure has been the sweetest, most tolerant, cooperative boy for his baby girl to dress up, snuggle, walk when he's far stronger, and just love on.

We were truly blessed when we rescued him and his brother.
