This was definitely an atypical session for me! I had a contractor reach out to me and ask for some photos of a brand new deck that was just finished. I of course agreed because I love new opportunities! This deck was gorgeous!

🍂 One of my favorite things about photography is getting to welcome families back and see how much has changed since their last session! ❤️

It was so wonderful having the Canen family back in front of my camera this fall! Seeing how much the kiddos have grown and getting to capture another year of memories for this sweet family makes my heart so happy. I'm so thankful they continue to choose me to freeze these little moments in time! 🥹❤️

What's better than seeing your aunt and cousins and their whole family?? Getting to take their family photos!! I was so happy when they reached out about getting updated family photos done! It was such a fun time, and a beautiful location! Everyone was so wonderful, and it couldn't have gone better!

P.S. We even got a surprise engagement in there at the end too! 💕

I don’t think I was quite prepared for how emotional this session would make me. 🥹🤍

Getting to stand behind my camera and capture my **baby sister’s pregnancy announcement** was one of those moments I’ll hold onto forever. It feels like just yesterday she was the little sister I watched tiptoe around the house, and now she’s stepping into one of the most beautiful chapters of her life — **becoming a mama.** 😭🤍

There’s something so surreal about watching your baby sister grow up, fall in love, build a life of her own, and now prepare to welcome a little baby into this world. I am beyond excited for her, so incredibly proud of her, and already completely in love with this sweet little baby I haven’t even met yet.

Being able to capture these photos wasn’t just another session for me. These are memories for my own family. Someday, this little one will get to look back at these photos and see just how loved and wanted they were from the very beginning. 🥹

My baby sister is having a baby… and my heart seriously could not be any fuller. 🤍

Congratulations, sis. I love you more than you know, and I cannot wait to watch you become the amazing mama I know you’re going to be. Now hurry up, little one… we’re all ready to love you. 🍼👶🏼🤍

🚨EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY🚨

I will no longer be posting identifiable images of children on my photography page, signed release or not. Any posts already published will be taken down.

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home.

That is enough for me to say I will not be a part of the problem. If our government and laws aren’t going to adequately protect children from what AI can do with their images, then I feel a responsibility to do my part to protect them.

The safety of children and my clients will always come before anything else.
