Never thought I’d actually see this guy again. I was getting a panini at Martins and he, with his camera, was snapping some shots.
He was surprised to see I still had my photo of him.

Somewhere in our exchange of words he said something about meeting sweet Jesus soon. He knows he’s old and his time is short. That was a topic I thought I’d investigate more. At the end of everything he let me pray for him.

Clouds drift by
soft whispers in the evening sky
Clouds embrace the sun’s last light
While two birds that are buddies enjoy their flight
of coffee so they can stay up all night pooping on cars and other public signs.
