This Upper Peninsula elopement was simply fantastic. D+A contacted me just a few weeks ago, ready to get r done (due to upcoming military obligations); much respect to those who serve our country. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿค

Together we teamed up to hone in on where, when, and all the little details. We were given a perfect spring day in Michigan, full of sunshine all the way to the horizon.

A small group of family gathered for a sunny cliffside ceremony. Afterwards, the couple enjoyed wedding cake among the blooming lilacs. we then relaxed at Iron Bay Restaurant for a group dinner (whitefish tacos forever).

After refueling, we hiked to some favorite spots for golden hour and into dusk. Despite the ever-present insects at this time of year in the UP, we had a blast enjoying each other and God's beautiful creation. These two's love for each other is so evident. they are kind, fun-loving, genuine, and devoted.

We watched the last twinkle of sun dip below the horizon and the world fade into blue. We then made some lantern magic on the edge of night and hiked back in the dark; giddy, tired, and hearts full. i won't forget this one.

If you want some of the best & most beautiful terrain the midwest can offer, elope in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I call it the "Alaska of the Midwest". You won't be disappointed. โœจ๏ธ

One of the prettiest chapels in the USA. ๐Ÿ‘€

This open-air chapel in South Carolina (Pretty Place), sits above the Blue Ridge Mountains with sweeping panoramic views, benches for all, and a lone wood cross. โœ๏ธ

It's a peaceful paradise that can be rented out privately, just for your elopement (minimum of two hours, which runs $2,500 for a M-TH date). These two finished getting ready onsite, had a first look, then an emotional ceremony with a small group of their loved ones. ๐Ÿค

I like big trees, and I cannot lie. ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿชพ

Seriously though, the Redwoods are one of the most peaceful places a couple can choose. Everything is so quiet, as you stroll through an ancient grove, without a care in the world. AND, the Pacific Coast is just a short drive away, providing a completely alternate location for exploration that includes water.
