This beautiful boy of mine is the reason I have been a little absent on this page. We are in a season where he needs me to be his full time care-giver and it doesn't leave much time or energy for scheduling shoots or the hours of editing that follow.
It has been a little sad to lay down this business that I have loved and built and all the wonderful people that I have captured though my lens who have, in turn, captured my heart.... But I know that there are seasons for everything and being a special-needs mom is my highest and greatest calling. There are so many amazing photographers who can do what I do and more, but I am the only one who can offer a mama's love and care to Jonah and it is how I spend my waking hours these days.
I won't sugar coat it... The days are long and hard.
