We were able to attend the Saratoga Springs Utah Temple open house today. We lived in Saratoga Springs Utah from 2009-2021. Our literal backyard was transformed from a cornfield to the completion of a beautiful temple. It was amazing to enter and view the completed building that we watch be constructed. I was able to share many of my photographs, I captured during the many years of the construction process, with local media and with the church. Many of my photographs are in a magazine that was made for the open house and also included in a slidewleshow shown at the open house. I am grateful to be able to share and have my photographs share with so many.

“Love Eternal” Four years ago on October 24th 2018 the most loving, kind, and generous man held the hand of his Earthly and Heavenly Angel for the last time here upon this Earth! These are two hands that were often in embrace! These hands together raised their children well. Taught them well by example and word. These hands together had many trials and struggles in their life. These two hands never gave up on each other, but grew stronger and stronger together. It’s been over a year now since the replacement cupola has been attached to the steeple of the St. George Utah Temple, topped with a ball and weather vane that mimics the former wind vane. The entire assembly is a shiny black with inconspicuous lighting attached around the rim of the dome. The dark coloring is a return to a more historic look for the temple, similar to its appearance in the early 1900s.

I went and walked around one of my favorite old buildings today! As I was up in the balcony looking down, I noticed the sunlight shining in. As I captured this moment it almost looked as if I was looking down into a model or a dollhouse!
